  27. I hate to start a platform war here, but BMP sucks for the user.  May be 
  28. easy to load from, but IFFs are damn small while BMPs are completly 
  29. uncompressed.  I just have a problem with a format that eats up all my 
  30. available hard drive space.

  32. I imagine that most people would think that TGA would be the 
  33. format-of-choise instead of BMP for the a Windows version.  At least TGA 
  34. is compressed.

  42. I'll buy that.  If it was on the Amiga, he'd have used the IFFParse.library.
  43. IFF, however, is MUCH better than BMP IMHO.
